Kenya defeated Botswana on day one of the U23 Women's African Nations Championship on Sunday
Nairobi, Kenya, October 23, 2016 - Hosts Kenya and Rwanda claimed victories on day one of the U23 Women's African Nations Championship on Sunday. Kenya defeated Bostwana 3-0 (25-14, 31-29, 25-19) in 103 minutes while Rwanda rebounded to defeat Senegal in four sets 3-1 (26-28, 25-17, 25-14, 25-19) in 96 minutes.
The competition gathers a total of five teams including Kenya, Rwanda, Senegal, Botswana and Egypt.
